State League Competition
    This year Eastwood Ryde Netball Assn has three teams competing in the NSW State league Competition. The competition commenced in late March with the semi finals commencing on Saturday 1st September. The teams are proudly sponsored by the Gladesville Hotel.
     It has been a very successful year for the teams.
Team 3 - playing Division 7 on Saturday afternoons have performed extremely well this season. This is the first season in State league for many players with some players being promoted from the 15s Representative team. The girls have come in 2nd and will play Parramatta Auburn in the semis on Sat 1st September at 1.30pm at the Anne Clarke Centre. The team is coached by Jodi Thomas and Karen Taylor-Gurney and managed by Kylie Salmon.
    Team 2 - playing Division 4 have also come in second behind the experienced Bankstown City team. This team has been to together for a number of years and play on Thursday 6th September at 8.30pm for a place in the grandfinal. The team is coached by player/coach Deb Deans smith and managed by Leanne Bates.
    Team 1 - playing in division 1 "Waratah Cup" for the second year have come in 4th and play Fairfield Sydney Uni on Wednesday night 5th September at 7pm. They are coached by Anita Keelan and Charlene Sommerville and managed by Cheryl Rugg.
